Lamborghini Aventador can turn into a sedan.
In the next year Lamborghini can bring to the market its four-door and four-seat modification of the Aventador supercar. Original supercar will be probably called Aventador GT, and its premiere is tentatively scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show.
Considering how to complete its lineup – with a sedan or a crossover – Lamborghini chose the latter and built a concept car Urus. However, according to the latest news, the Italians still haven’t given up the idea to continue producing more spacious passenger model, and according to the Motor Trend portal, a new version of the supercar Aventador, adapted for the genre of Gran Turismo, can take place of the Estoque sedan.
According to some sources, the supercar will get longer wheelbase, two additional seats and four doors, moreover, the rear doors will be reclined against a course of movement. A similar scheme has been used, for example, in the coupe Mazda RX-8. What is interesting, the Aventador GT mid-engine layout will be preserved.
According to the Motor Trend, the premier of the unusual concept will be held in spring at the Geneva Motor Show. But the GT version is not the only expected completion of the family. In January’s Detroit the Lamborghini company is expected to bring at last a modification with an open top, and by 2014, to develop an Aventador Super Veloce version with the engine capacity of 800 horsepower.
